Cultura Blend 4
This is Cultura, the blending of old-world spontaneous brewing methods and Appalachian terroir. The apotheosis of our sour brewery, Cultura stands testament to local agriculture, Belgian sour blending traditions, and the bounty of Appalachia. Pure local water, locally-malted Riverbend pilsner malt and raw wheat, and copious amounts of aged whole-cone hops come together under the care of our brewers, who then relinquish control to nature in our coolship, where winter winds chill the steaming wort and local flora spontaneously inoculate it. These young spontaneous ales then rest for one, two, and three years in French oak puncheons,until our cellarmen delicately blend the batches. Our home, our air, our water, our earth, and our people; all suspended in time, meticulously blended and bottled for posterity.
